I just wish the enemies part were explored more than Madeleine and Carter quickly reconnecting. I hated that Holly intervened when Carter tried to contact Madeleine, mainly because this scenario had been used many times. But this was the turning point and without it then we wouldn't be here. The idea behind this romance story was a really good one and it had so much potential. The characters be it Madeleine, Carter, Sasha or Holly and their perspectives was uplifting and entertaining. I also think the problems in the book were resolved so quickly, I wish I could have seen the problems take longer to solve. There were noticeable grammar errors like capitalization, I'm not sure why English and Portuguese wasn't capitalized, especially since they're proper nouns. It should be hypothesis since the story is written in English. It's understandable since this is just an ARC but it would need to be proofread and edited. The writing style was easy to understand but would need to work on consistency, flow, transition, and word choice. I DEVOURED this book in one sitting - three hours.
