Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. But Sasha stood out for me because she's independent and strong. The only downside was that I felt like this story lacked a climax. Every conflict or hardship we had was easily resolved, and I really think it would have a bigger impact had it been written in a different way.
One thing that i disliked about until you come back home, is how short is was. Normally, i love a shorter novel, but this one felt rushed. As much as i enjoyed having an existing relationship be the main focus, i wish there was more elaboration on their past. Max was fascinated by the woman and more than a little curious about what she might be up to. Sarah Johnson had come from a two-parent, affluent home with a squeaky-clean past. She'd been the golden girl, high school cheerleader, valedictorian and had apparently glided through college without making a ripple, coming out with a bachelor of arts degree in literature.

Personally it wasn’t my genre and I missed a little more drama as it were. However, I would really recommend this book if you’re looking for something light and easy to read! Considering this to be a debut novel, it was an okay read. It was simple, sweet as promised, and ends in a cliff-hanger! Recommending it to those who are in for an easy, quick read.
They are lovely pigeons to look at and their eyes are full of lessons to learn.." "I thought I'd just wait for you to come back." She started to tap her foot. Cassie proceeds to perform the finalized track at an Oceanside festival with her band, “The Loyal,” and dedicates it to the soldiers fighting for their lives and their country.
Won’t You Come Back Home Lyrics
This was such a heart-warming, fluffy love story between two best friends who have parted ways without saying goodbye and then meeting after five years. This was a short read and I finished the book in 2 hours. The plot was interesting at all times which mainly focused on letting go of the past and embracing the future.
With best friends, having intimate, romantic feelings is a major turning point. It has the power to turn your relationship into a beautiful beginning or sadly, it could be the end of your friendship. There goes the drama, the deflection, using other people as a rebound so you'll forget, and lies.

Cris I've already told you but no exaggeration this is my new favourite book! SO excited for everything else you're going to write - I honestly can't wait. The story intertwines past and present wonderfully and lets you glimpse the most intimate thoughts of both protagonists. Mads, a budding author, and self-admitted stress-baker, who carved her own path in England.

I found that I was after more tension than what was playing out. If you're looking for a cute and wholesome read to curl up with on a weekend or to take with you on a picnic, then this is that kind of perfect story. The plot in general and the main characters lacked development. As enemies to lover’s trope, I expected a lot more from the story but I felt that all the conflicts were resolved too quickly while I expected a better climax. Some of the chapters felt like I was reading a summary version of the real chapters instead because the story felt too rushed. I wanted more exploration on Mads and Carter’s relationship.

The track is first heard after the protagonist’s, newly-wed husband, Luke Morrow , departs for active military duty. In this part of the film, Cassie creates an E-Mail to her lover that she barely knows in an attempt to “Fill in the gaps” about herself that they didn’t have time to discuss prior to their eloped wedding. The song was again covered in 1983 by Luther Vandross who released it on his album Busy Body as part of a medley with "Superstar", as well as its closing track. The medley peaked at no. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no. 5 on the Hot Black Singles chart in 1984.
We all love a HEA, but we also love some angst, which I found myself missing at times. This book is a friendship-to-semi-enemies-to-lovers. Two high school best friends, lose contact and find eachother again in London. Its an easy, closed-door read and I imagine it being great to get you out of a reading slum. + The book was easy and the author took me along with the different perspectives. The flashbacks also helped to develop the main characters.
That's how Madeleine felt when she realized she was in love with her childhood best friend, Carter. It wasn’t a five star read for me because I find the characters immature at times which was frustrating to read. The conflict was also quickly resolved, so I wish that one had more build up.

The pacing was quite fast and therefore it missed out on the chance to connect with the characters and how the story progressed as a whole. I can’t wait to read the rest of this group of friends' story, and to see how the authors writing style evolves. Cristiana's debut book is such a cute, light read, perfect for summer. It’s also the perfect book for someone who wants to start reading in English, as it has a simple and straight to the point writing.
To finish up the character talk, Holly and Sasha were so present and had such a story arc that they felt like main characters to me. Especially if you are looking for a quick read that will lighten your heart and help you pass the time. I'd absolutely recommend it and look forward to read the next installement in these Mc's lives. At the same time all the conflict in this book is resolved a bit too quickly. This book is pitched as an enimies-to-lovers but the enemy part is resolved in 2 or 3 chapters, which leaves the reader with the flavor of not enough. As many new authors tend to do, Cristiana write's this book telling instead of showing.
